General Orthopaedic & Fracture Management Program

Many of Central Maine Orthopaedics' patients require non operative care for the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries such as sprains, strains and fractures that do not require surgery.

CMO employs a staff of Registered Nurses, Certified Cast Technicians, Radiologic Technologists and Certified Hand Therapists who work under the direction of our Physician staff to provide diagnostic services, professional casting and splinting services and rehabilitation of hand and upper extremity injuries. This clinical team works with patients during the pre and post surgical term but also with patients that do not require surgery.

This team approach allows Central Maine Orthopaedics to work with primary care physicians and emergency room physicians to provide timely access to non-operative orthopaedic care.
