Communication and accessibility
We know how important communication is to the parties involved in a Workers’ Compensation case. As a result, our Workers’ Compensation team is available for assistance and to ensure communication is timely and addresses return-to-work issues.
Second opinions
Central Maine Orthopaedics offers second opinions and opinions addressing industrial accidents. The majority of second opinions are performed once it has been recommended that surgical intervention is an appropriate course of treatment. Second opinions are also often utilized for industrial accidents to support causation. Either way, Central Maine Orthopaedics is here to help.
It is important that our physician is provided with all pertinent diagnostic studies, including X-ray films, MRIs, myelograms, CTs, ultrasound, and bone scan images, and pertinent medical reports to supplant objective medical opinions.
Ancillary services
Our Workers’ Compensation Program has access to a full complement of ancillary services, including MRI; digital X-ray; physical/occupational therapy, including certified hand therapists; and an outpatient surgery center. We also have access to other specialties such as physiatry and podiatry.
