Dr. Samuel Scott is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in treating conditions of the hand and elbow. He joined Central Maine Orthopaedics (CMO) in 2006.

Dr. Scott splits his time between CMO and his private practice in South Portland, Maine. He serves on the courtesy staff at Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) and St. Mary's Regional Medical Center and the active staff at Maine Medical Center (MMC). He is the Chief of Surgical Services at Mercy Hospital in Portland. He performs surgery at CMMC in the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Maine (OICM), St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, and CMO’s Ambulatory Surgery Center as well as MMC and Mercy.
Dr. Scott is also a clinical instructor at the University of New England and Maine Medical Center’s Family Practice Residency Program and serves on the board of trustees, Hurricane Island Outward Bound School.
