Paul R. Cain, M.D.
Dr. Paul Cain is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with various areas of specialty, including sports medicine, arthroscopic and open surgery of the shoulder and knee, knee ligament reconstruction, and cartilage restoration. He joined Central Maine Orthopaedics (CMO) in 1987, and he served as president of the CMO Board from 2007 to 2011. He currently serves as chairman of the Central Maine Orthopaedics Board of Directors.
Since the inception of the Sports Medicine program at Central Maine Orthopaedics in 1987, Dr. Cain has grown it into a comprehensive program, including preventative programs, community educational seminars, game coverage, and involvement with local teams at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels.
