Elizabeth E. Rothe

Elizabeth E. Rothe, M.D.

Dr. Elizabeth Rothe is a board-certified, fellowship-trained family practitioner specializing in sports medicine. She is a physician with Central Maine Sports Medicine, a Clinical Department of Central Maine Medical Center, and has been affiliated with Central Maine Orthopaedics (CMO) since 2010.

I decided to go into medicine because I love helping others, and I have always enjoyed biology and critical thinking. I went into non-operative sports medicine because I love working with patients in the clinic and working with athletes and motivated patients in particular. I really enjoy doing procedures such as injections and managing fractures. Helping patients recover from an injury and getting back to doing what they love to do gives me great satisfaction.
