Physiatry allows me the privilege and opportunity to help restore people to their normal lives after injury or accident. I have a chance to either cure or relieve pain and suffering, or at least to give my patients hope. Nothing is more personally rewarding than using whatever talents I have mastered to help people with painful musculoskeletal conditions to overcome them and go back to work, sports, or just a more fulfilling life.
