Dr. David Brown is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in major orthopaedic trauma caused by accidents or injuries. He joined Central Maine Orthopaedics (CMO) in 1991.

Dr. Brown heads the Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) Orthopaedic Trauma Service, Level II Trauma Program and also serves on the Maine EMS Trauma Advisory Committee. He serves on the medical staff at Central Maine Medical Center, Rumford Hospital courtesy medical staff, and Bridgton Hospital consulting medical staff. He performs surgery at CMMC in the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Maine (OICM), St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, and CMO’s Ambulatory Surgery Center.
