MRI services are available on-site as a central component of the concept of a full-service orthopaedic treatment center. Central Maine Imaging maintains a full-size MRI which is available for scheduled or emergent studies.
Radiology technologists work with doctors and patients to conduct the MRI test, the results of which are then interpreted by a radiologist. CMIC's technologists are skilled professionals who are highly trained and dedicated to educating patients, answering questions, and making patients feel comfortable during a procedure. All are certified nationally by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and are licensed by the State of Maine. The radiology technologists at CMIC have many years of accumulated work experience, making them experts in technical excellence and compassionate care.
