Dr. Patrick Fallon Celebrates a Decade with CMO

AUBURN, MAINE – Recently, Dr. Patrick J. Fallon, M.D., F.R.C.S., celebrated his 10-year anniversary with Central Maine Orthopaedics (CMO) on Minot Avenue.
Dr. Fallon is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and shoulder and knee arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery. He joined CMO in 2002. Dr. Fallon is originally from Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, and first practiced in the United States in Presque Isle.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Canadian Orthopaedic Association, Maine Medical Association, Maine Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons, New England Orthopaedic Society, a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons, and a member of the Nu Sigma Chapter – Phi Chi Medical Fraternity.
Dr. Fallon attended the University of New Brunswick (Canada) and received Bachelor of Science degrees in science and education, and attended medical school at Dalhousie University (Canada). He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Calgary where he was also fellowship trained in sports medicine. Additionally, Dr. Fallon completed a fellowship at Northern Virginia University (Fairfax, VA) in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and knee.
Dr. Fallon serves on the medical staff at Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC), St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, and Rumford Hospital’s courtesy medical staff. He performs surgery at CMMC in the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Maine, St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, and CMO’s Ambulatory Surgery Center. He is also available for consultation at the CMO Orthopaedic Clinic at Rumford Hospital.
