Information Technology Administrator
Job Description:
Essential responsibilities for this position will include, but not be limited to the management of CMO's IT infrastructure within a VM environment, information services, telecommunications services, electronic medical records (EMR) systems and for ensuring that CMO adheres to all federal and state compliance mandates.

This position will collaborate with stakeholders to determine IT, telecommunication and EMR needs, research alternatives, procure services and/or equipment, and implement solutions working with vendors and other contracted service providers to ensure on-going stability of all systems. This position will research and provide a yearly budget for all on-going IT needs and upgrades as well as implement this budget.

This position will also serve as CMO's HIPAA and Compliance officer and serves as Chairperson of CMO's Compliance/Medical Records committee.

This position will provide systems and network administration, and help desk support to CMO and its users on a regular basis.

Full/Part Time: Full Time Position

Job Requirements:
* Broad knowledge in information technology, health care compliance, budget management, medical practice management;

* Knowledge of, and the ability to apply basic system development and project management methodologies;

* Expertise in the analysis, design, development, implementation and support of automated systems;

* Expertise in the support of IT infrastructure (servers, printers, WAN, LAN, etc.);

* Training others in the effective use of automated systems;

* Knowledge of related regulatory, legislative and AAAHC requirements;

* Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills;

* Demonstrated experience successfully managing projects, including project planning and progress monitoring;

* Five years or more of demonstrated supervisory/management responsibility, experience supporting IT infrastructure (servers, printers, WAN, LAN, etc.), experience in system analysis, design, development, implementation, training and support of computer applications;

* Medical Compliance Manager Certification (Desired);

* Advanced proficiency in Word, Power Point, and Excel;

* A high degree of confidentiality is essential.

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Nurse Practitioner position at Central Maine Orthopaedics (CMO) is centered around supporting our surgical practice. Primary responsibilities will involve hospital roundings, consults, discharges, and surgical assisting, if certified.

Minimum call is required. Clinic duties will involve pre-operative work-up, post- operative follow-up, triage and injections.

Foot and lower extremity surgery
